Wearing a lapel pin (or badge) properly would not only present your status symbol, but also affect your etiquette image. To some extent, lapel pins are the sign of the identity. For examples, when you wear a suit, you can wear the badge on your collar, when you wear a larger casual outfit, you can choose the relative larger size badges as well, if you are worrying that the pin would leave a hole on your suits, you can choose the magnetic badges with relative smaller size.
