The embroidery patch is one of the main products of Donghong Craft & Art Co.,Ltd. The main background fabrics of the
embroidery patches are as follows:
The twill fabric. The raw material is 100% polyester. Its utilization is up to about 98%. When embroider font or pattern on twill, it can easily show the 3D effect. The surface is smooth and has good luster. There are many color options for this fabric. Usually, if the border is heat cut, it‘s better use twill fabric. But the border will leave rough fringe if by hand cutting .
The velvet fabric. The embroidery patch with velvet fabric is with higher quality looking, but during the process of embroidery, the thread will sink which makes the font and the object looks like with ribbed edge and the customers would suspect if there is cheating on materials. But the border won’t leave rough fringe even if with hand cutting. The cost of velvet fabric is about 50% higher than that of twill fabric.
The felt fabric, also known as non-woven fabric. When embroidering ,the border will have ribbed effect that makes people think it is a defect. Because the surface is hairy. It will cost around 15% more of embroidery stitches than the patch with usual twill fabric. The color of every batch is not always accurate because the color of every batch might have the color tolerance. The MOQ for dying the fabric specially would be huge, so we generally try to find the as close as possible color to match the client’s requirement. The border can be heat cut ,lockout and hand cut . Even if with hand cutting, there won’t have rough fringe occurred.
The reflective fabric. It is generally used for fire protection and has three colors available as orange, yellow and gray. The border is directly hand cut.
Other special fabrics. For special designs, we will also use cotton, canvas, non-woven, denim and other special fabrics to produce. To satisfy the customers, Donghong Craft & Art Co.,Ltd.will try our best to find the similar fabrics as close as possible for production if the customer makes specific demands.
