How to make chenille patches by embroidery machine

The first method we will cover is using a specialized chenille patch machine. This method is the quickest  way to make chenille patches, but it does require an investment in the special machine, itself. Here’s how it’s done:

Step 1: Choose Your Design

First, you’ll need to choose the design you want for your patch. This can be anything from a simple logo to a more intricate design. Once you have your design, we can turn your design into the production artwork which would be suitable for the chenille embroidery machine?

Step 2: Load Your Machine

Next, load your machine with the yarn colors you will be using. The machine will weave the patches with yarn by placing short lengths of yarn between the two main parts of yarn and then twisting all of the yarn together to create the soft texture of chenille.

Start 3: Start the Machine

Once the machine is loaded, you can start it up. The machine will automatically begin weaving the yarn and creating the patches. It’s important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your particular machine to ensure the best results.

Step 4: Cut Your Patches

After the machine has finished weaving the patches, you can cut them into the desired shape using fabric scissors. Be sure to leave a small border around the edge of the patch to prevent fraying.

Step 5: The backside process

Adding the backing option you prefer for your patch, like the iron on, adhesive tape etc..

Step 6: Attach Your Patches

Finally, you can attach your chenille patches to your garment of choice using a sewing machine or by hand-sewing them on. And voila! You now have your own custom chenille patch.
